I don’t sew, but if I did this would for sure be the first project I’d make. Ingenious idea for a universal problem – where to store the phone while it charges. From Positively Splendid.
Hooks and decorative knobs screwed into a piece of reclaimed timber makes for a stunning jewellery holder. A lovely project by Hawthorne & Maine.
What a great idea from A Thoughtful Place – hide unsightly storage shelves in the garage with curtains! I can’t believe the difference that makes.
Now that my boys are old enough to be getting into Lego, I’m starting to understand that we have a whole new storage dilemma on our hands. How cool is this Lego Organiser from honeybearlane?
My other bugbear when it comes to kids’ stuff is their scooters. It’s impossible to stand them upright neatly, and so ours end up in strewn on the garage floor where they become a messy trip hazard. This scooter organiser from Organizing Made Fun is just brilliant!
Organise the kids with this clever magnetic chore chart from Lemon Squeezy Home.
And I love this rolling cart from Katie of Little House of Four for storing Lego creations under the bed.
If you love a good organising project as much as me, make sure you check out the Ultimate Homemaking Bundle while you still can – only one day left to snag over $1k worth of ebooks, courses and physical bonuses at 97% off. I’m looking forward to digging into these organising ebooks, which alone would be worth more than the price of the entire bundle!
Not to mention these meal planning ebooks which you also get included!
… and that’s just a handful of the great resources included in this bundle.
UPDATE: SORRY, THIS PROMOTION HAS NOW ENDED.

I love all of these you rounded up! The fabric charging station is adorable and I need to bust out my sewing machine to get that made. It would just make my organizing heart so much happier. Thanks for sharing!

Such an awesome tutorial- I would have thought it was a super hard project and likely not DIY if I saw this randomly online or in a magazine but you make it look so easy! Definitely pinning for later! Thanks for sharing!

Great collection, thank you! I think that menu board needs to happen here pronto. After years of efficient menu planning, the wheels have come off the last year or so, and I think that might be a good solution – and pretty too! Now if I can just figure out how to keep my office clear and organized, that would be great. (It is also a guest room, contains loads of toy overflow and functions as an impromptu play room and hiding spot (for STUFF) as soon as I manage to clear the previous mess. Yikes.)

We are moving into a house with a window seat in the living room. I'm saving this for a summer project!

I need to try that menu board – it seems like a pretty and easy solution to an increasingly boring problem. My greatest organizing challenge is probably my study/office… which is also my guest room, a storage spot for loads of toy overflow, an impromptu play room and a place to hide all kinds of things when I need to clear the rest of the house in a hurry – recipe for disaster!

Ah yes, that's the hardest thing when a room has multiple functions!! So much harder to get clarity on how to decorate and organise. I think most of us have a room like that. Best organising tip? Just keep the door shut. LOL ๐
