Turn right from the entry, and you’ll find yourself in the kitchen.
Here’s our chalkboard pantry door, which comes in handy as a giant menu. Don’t we just eat the most delicious things in this house?? Too bad I completely made up this menu for the photo. But I’d like to have those things to eat. That counts, right?

The couch faces my DIY herringbone artwork. (Tutorial upcoming!)
Just off the living area is a deck that flows down a couple of wide steps to the backyard.
Since we’re talking kids’ rooms, let’s wander down the hallway and visit the kids’ bedrooms.

Find a how-to and sources for this sweet little-girl gallery wall here.
You can also see more pictures of the nursery reveal here.

You can see all pictures and sources in the full bedroom reveal post. It’s one of my favourites so far!
The kids share a bathroom down the hallway. I wanted to create a beachy, relaxed vibe in this room.
The laundry room is opposite the bathroom, and features the same VJ panelling to carry through the theme.
Lastly, the Master bedroom!
And lastly, the bedroom flows onto an ensuite.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this tour through our river house. I’m so thrilled with what I was able to accomplish here in less than a year.
